Meagan + Daniel | Elegant Wedding at Hyatt Tamaya

Meagan and Daniel met in high school, they sat near each other in class and were paired for a project in Culinary Arts. The two clicked right away and were dating in no time. And now, 12 years later, these high school sweethearts are capturing our hearts with their love story.
The two were married at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya surrounded by their closest friends and family.
Daniel and his groomsmen sported grey suits with burgundy ties and large cream roses in their boutonnieres.

The bridesmaids wore wine colored dresses with beautiful organic bouquets of large garden roses and dahlias. They weren't the only ones with special flowers though. Meagan adopted a dog her senior year of high school, so naturally, Missy Koko was part of the bridal party. She was walked down the aisle by the flower girls, complete with a floral leash.

There wasn't a dry eye in the house as Meagan walked down the aisle; family, bridesmaids and the groom all teared up as they saw her.

During the ceremony, the couple held a sand ceremony with colors to match their wedding. Even though the wind was picking up, and a storm threatened in the background no one looked away from the bride and groom as they had been anticipating this exact moment for a long time.

Once the party started, it didn't calm down. The best man gave a speech that left the couple in tears, and the maid of honor had everyone laughing when she gave her toast to the newly weds. Daniel and his mom surprised everyone with their mother/son dance when they started playing The Twist, and Tonto, amongst other party dance songs.

Since the storm never arrived, Meagan and Daniel snuck out of the party for some sunset photos with the Sandia Mountains, enjoying a few quiet moments with one another before they came back to party. The couple danced the night away with their friends before ending their night with a lavender toss as they made their grand exit.

We love a good love story, and nothing is sweeter than high school sweethearts. We couldn't have been more glad to share this day with them! Congrats Meagan and Daniel!
