Emily + EJ | A Destination Wedding in Beautiful Lake Tahoe

Emily and EJ met in Denver while EJ was visiting for a football game. She was leaving a bar as he was walking in and he just had to stop this beautiful girl and ask her where she was going. She ended up staying and they hit it off that night and within 4 months she was moving down to Albuquerque to be with him. EJ proposed to Emily in Belgium and they decided that their adventurous and travel loving hearts just had to get married in beautiful Lake Tahoe, a place they fell in love with while vacationing together. Their closest family and friends joined them on the beautiful lake on labor day weekend and were greeted with perfect weather and turquoise waters. The mountains stood tall in the distance as the sweet couple said I do in the sand under an arbor of flowers and boho macrame knots blowing in the wind. Ej and Emily took time to take photos with their beloved staffy pup Caesian who sported a bowtie to the wedding, looking extra adorable.

At the reception the couple gave a nod to the city they live by decorating with succulents and southwestern print table cloths, and the cake was designed with a zia symbol on the front. After everyone tore it up on the dance floor and took shots of patron toasting the new couple, the party didnt stop as everyone boarded a yacht to end the night in style. Congratulations Emily + EJ, your wedding was something out of a dream and we were so honored to be able to travel and document it.
