Sevilla + John | Los Poblanos Spring Wedding | Albuquerque Wedding Photographer
I must admit I was a little nervous about this wedding as Sevilla and John live in Florida and we couldn’t squeeze an engagement session in before the wedding. I hadn’t met John yet either, and if you know how we like to do things, we always want to get to know our couples before the big day. However, as soon as I saw this couple together, every worry left me as they were one of the most affectionate, fun-loving, down to earth AND photogenic couples we have ever had. It felt like we had know them for years. I had such a blast walking around beautiful Los Poblanos with these two as we cracked jokes and took in the jaw dropping sunset.
Sevilla and John met at the gym in Wyoming, they both really enjoyed working out and even more so when they would see each other across the room. Once the two started chatting they hit it off and before she knew it, Sevilla and John were off to Florida together on a new adventure. They chose to get married in New Mexico, where Sevilla is from, and picking Los Poblanos to host their nuptials was a no brainer. Surrounded by beautiful spring foliage, Sevilla and John said I do under a moon arch covered in florals. Sevilla donned an antique myrtle crown from the 1800s. A tradition we just loved hearing about, as myrtle has long been considered to be Aphrodite’s flower and a symbol of devoted love. Their love of antiques was carried throughout the wedding to the decor on the tables, all designed by Sevilla's aunt. The wisteria growing everywhere on the property matched John's tie perfectly as well as Sevillas bouquet of roses and lilies.
It is very obvious these two are loved and we had the absolute best time celebrating with them and documenting their story.
Congratulations again Sevilla and John!
