There's nothing we love more than animals. So of course, we fell in love with the animal saving Vet-Duo Trista and Clint. They met at vet school at Kansas State several years ago, and their shared passion turned into a romantic spark. Trista, a small animal vet, and Clint, a large animal livestock vet, captured our hearts during their engagement session, and again at their beautiful Mexico wedding.
The couple had started planning their wedding in their state of New Mexico, but after having to make so many decisions, and base those decisions around so many factors, the stress became too much for Trista. Overwhelmed by the wedding planning process, the pair decided to have a smaller, destination wedding on the breathtaking Island of Isla Mujeres, which Trista had visited several times growing up.
Trista made sure we took photos at Punta Sur, which is an ecological park dedicated to saving sea turtles. Perfect for this animal loving couple. We explored the cliffs by the sea, and the docks at sunset for some of the most tropical and romantic photos we've ever done. The following day, we joined Trista and Clint for a day after session, in order to relive their romantic wedding the day before. We found a private beach where they relaxed in the ocean and played with the fish. We couldn't be more grateful for the amazing opportunity to capture such a romantic and unique wedding.
