It was just one week until Christmas time, the malls were brimming with shoppers getting that last minute gift, children were mailing off their lists to santa and helping ice the holiday cookies all while the family of Kristin and Kim were traveling to Santa fe from near and far to see these two wonderful ladies say their I do's. I normally sit down with each of my brides and learn as much as I can about them before their wedding. If they live out of town we exchange numerous emails and phone calls or text messages about how the day will unfold or what shade of bridesmaid dress will best match her blush heels. I didn't meet or speak to Kristin or Kim until the day of the wedding and it threw me a little out of my comfort zone. All was handled by their amazing planner Tomas (which should have rested my nerves,) however as soon as I met these lovely ladies all was put to ease. Both were so warm and kindhearted and completely in love. It was impossible not to get swept away with the joy and love everyone was feeling that day and to throw in the holiday spirit and festivities on top of that? Forget it. My heart was a bowl of mush and I was on wedding photographer cloud nine.
It was such a joy capturing this beautiful wedding and I want to wish Kristin and Kim nothing but the very best from the bottom of my heart! <3
