Tomas was Moniques high school crush, but being two years older, he was always the 'unattainable upperclassmen." But after starting college, she ended up running in some of the same circles as him, and eventually he asked her out. Two years later, they gathered both of their families for a camping trip to Fenton Lake in Jemez. While on a romantic boat ride, with just the two of them, Tomas got down on one knee and proposed with their families watching from the shoreline. In no time they had set their date and they were planning a wedding!
Their wedding was full of beautiful soft blush and cream tones, with the groomsmen contrasting in a cool blue. The girls all held bouquets of eucalyptus, roses and peonies, with beautiful ivy and chandeliers covering the long arbor above the ceremony.
When Monique walked down the aisle, and Tomas saw his bride for the first time, there wasn't a dry eye to be found.
We gushed over how Tomas was so thoughtful as he carried her dress everywhere so it wouldn't get dirty, a true gentleman.
At the reception, guests enjoyed champagne and yummy cake from Simply Sweet by Darci as they tore up the dance floor to Suavemente. The couple even called off the La Marcha and the Money Dance so that the party wouldn't stop. The dance floor was even still full as we said our goodbyes late that evening. This group knows how to party!
Monique and TJ are seriously one of the most beautiful couples inside and out that we have had the honor of working with. We wish them many years of happiness together.
