When we write about weddings, we love to share the story of the couple and the big day. However, no matter how hard we tried, we could not write anything more beautiful than what the bride Anissa had already written to us.

"Tom and I have lived lives and been married. We have had children. We have both had our share of heartache, tragedy, and through all that we met in a most chance encounter years after we first met.

God knew what he was doing bringing our hearts together. We both needed each other in ways we didn't even know, yet have come to realize.

We love each other more each day and as many can say that too, we feel that after living the lives we have, finding what we share is something truly special.

To have loved and lost like we have and to again share the love we have for each other is truly a blessing"

Their big day was full of love in ways many don't see. Their bridal party was only their siblings and children, Anissa was walked down the aisle by her father and son, and their son in law officiated the wedding. Blended families can be tough. But in the Tinnin case, there was nothing but love, adoration, and gratefulness toward each other.

Even though the wind kicked up, and the weather turned from beautiful into less than perfect, everyone spent the day in joy and celebration. The weather was no match for the hearts of those given a second chance at love. The beautiful bridesmaids wore a dusty shade of blue that matched the Sandia mountains behind them. The girls carried bouquets of peonies and hydrangeas that were not only elegant but also timeless. The guests enjoyed champagne and martinis as Tom gave a a speech that had everyone grinning from ear to ear and when Anissa and Tom's children, Megan and Brayden gave their toasts, there wasn't a dry eye in the house. It was such an honor to capture this beautiful affair ! A Congrats Anissa + Tom!!
